Team Leader - Tracy

      29 and from Manchester. MA in Humanitarianism and Conflict Response at Manchester University. Spent many years travelling and working in international work and travel programmes including New York, Paris, South Africa and London.

   

      Favourite Food: Groundnut soup with rice balls and a roast chicken dinner

Likes: Musicals, singing at every given opportunity, cheesy Pop music and reading

Dislikes: Mushrooms and liars  

Party trick: Reading all 7 Harry Potter books in 2 weeks

National Volunteer - Festus

·     26 years old and from Chuchuliga in the Upper East region of Ghana. Graduated with a degree in Geography and Rural Development.

Favourite food: TZ

Likes: Reading – favourite book ‘Angels and Demons’ Dan Brown

Dislikes: People who procrastinate

Party Trick: Chief Joker and Singing in deep bass 

UK Volunteer - Shazia

·     23 and from Essex. Graduated with a degree in Psychology. Was a Senior Supervisor of Merchandise within a West End Theatre and has previously worked within the NHS.

·     Is currently a member of the local Southend Amnesty International Group.

Favourite Foods: Red-Red (Beans and Plantain), Chocolate, Spicy Wings

Likes: When my niece gives me a hug, hugs in general, Lauryn Hill, Poundland (for the cheap chocolate)

Dislikes: Being told scary stories just before I go to bed, liars

Party Trick: I can do a pretty good impression of a goat

UK Volunteer - Roya

-     23 year old Biomedical Science graduate from London. Worked in a variety of different industries including the public sector, NGOs, retail, consultancy, and private start-up companies.

Favourite food: Groundnut soup with guinea fowl and apple pie with vanilla ice cream

Likes: Travelling, Ray LaMontagne, James Blake and chick flicks

Dislikes: Creepy crawlies

Party trick: Eating a whole apple pie
